The Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology (BARA) at the University of Arizona seeks qualified applicants to be assigned to the United States Agency for International Development’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA) as an Economic Recovery and Livelihoods Technical Advisor.

This person will work in Washington, DC within OFDA’s Technical Assistance Group and be responsible for the technical management of all economic recovery and non-agricultural-based livelihoods programming.

Applicants should be familiar with economic recovery principles following disasters and demonstrate solid understanding of livelihoods rehabilitation programming in disaster and conflict settings. Applicants must possess familiarity with the humanitarian assistance community and have demonstrable experience working in disaster settings. Salary to be offered: $86,927 - $113,007 (DOE).
