Summary:	Insurance Regulatory Authority
Description:	Reporting to the Corporation Secretary the successful candidate will carry out general legal affairs and corporate service duties that include the following: Assist the Corporation Secretary in ensuring compliance with the law in the operations of all the divisions within the Authority including review of legal compliance for industry stakeholders. Assist the Corporation Secretary in carrying out legal analysis to support assessment of legal risks, intervention strategies, compliance, transfers and amalgamations Carry out research and prepare reports and opinions on complex legal matters. Secretarial services for various committees established by the Authority. Assist the Corporation Secretary in preparation of contracts and other legal instruments. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:	Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in law (LLB). Possession of postgraduate training in law or relevant discipline would be an added advantage. Hold a post graduate Diploma from Kenya school of law. Must be an advocate of the High court. Have worked for a minimum period of three (3) years in a comparable position. Should be below 35 years of age. Terms of offer An attractive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of each position will be negotiated with the right candidate.
