POST:PEPFAR SRV IT Support Officer

Summary:	Job Summary: The South Rift Valley (SRV) Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in collaboration with various partners provides support for HIV prevention, care and treatment services in various sites within the SRV region. The program seeks to recruit an IT officer, to be based at WRP Kericho, to offer technical assistance to the partner sites.
Description:	Key Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate capacity building of site staff on computer usage skills. Guide partners on computer maintenance, including antivirus update Provide technical assistance on selection, acquisition and proper use of computer hardware and software and on computer networks (LAN, WAN). Promote of use of internet for routine communication Promote routine use of electronic medical records systems Provide guidance on data security, including appropriate back up. Develop IT policy applicable to sites.
Requirements:	Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences. Professional training in user/desktop support (A+), and Network support (N+). Additional Requirements: Experience with relational databases will be an added advantage. Ability to nurture good working relationships with the partner hospitals. Good team worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
