| Description: | Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible to the manager.
- Formulate and implement sound accounting systems and controls.
- Ensure efficient functioning of the FOSA and BOSA sections.
- Prepare financial and accounting reports for management decision-making.
- Prepare monthly cash flow and other vital forecasts.
- Prepare final accounts of the Society for presentation to the external auditors.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual budget estimates and operating results for the Society.
- Ensure proper cost accounting for the efficient utilization of the society financial resources.
- Compute taxes due by the Society and ensure timely remittance of the same.
- Prepare the Society’s strategic and long-term budget.
- Advise on investment portfolio and budgetary controls.
- Maintain register of all accountable documents.
- Provide financial and accounting advice to the Manager.
- Analyse borrowing/lending terms.
- Any other duties as may be assigned

| Requirements: | Job specifications
- A Business related degree (Accounting/Finance option) and CPA II with five (5) years experience in similar organization, OR
- CPA (K) with five (5) years experience in a busy Accounts office.
- Diploma in Co-operative Management is an added advantage
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be aged between 30-35 years .
