PricewaterhouseCoopers Tanzania is seeking for an experienced marketing professional to fill the position of Marketing & Communication Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Country Senior Partner and Country Operations Partner, this role is a highly varied and demanding position working with the firm’s leadership group and extensive client base. It involves managing in-country marketing activity as well as playing a key role in the regional marketing & communication leadership team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the marketing & communication team both in-country and regionally
  • Enhance marketing structures, systems and processes within the team and firm
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to existing and prospective clients through thought leadership, client events, media relations, e-marketing and internal communications
  • Support client relationship management programmes
  • Extend and build the PricewaterhouseCoopers brand, driving visual identity best practice
  • Prepare marketing & communication budgets and monitor costs against budgets
  • Influencing senior management to gain commitment to best practice and Marketing & Communication programmes
Requirements:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • University graduate with post graduate qualification in Marketing
  • A minimum 10 years marketing and business experience required, preferably in a business to business environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong internal and external client engagement skills, including stakeholder management
  • Strong people management skills
  • Extensive and demonstrable project management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Highly developed brand management skills
  • Development and execution of strategic marketing programmes
  • Self-driven and motivated individual
  • Knowledge of the Tanzania market will be an added advantage
