POST:Regional Nurse: Community Based Treatment Support

Summary:	A leading Medical technical support organization is looking for competent driven individuals to fill the following position
Description:	Purpose and Key Responsibilities Ensure implementation of the organization’s existing community based strategy across all supported sites in Western Region to improve patient retention and support adherence to improve outcome. Provide mentorship and training to community nurses at the supported sites to ensure each site establishes an effective community based treatment support program responsive to patient needs. Support task shifting at care and treatment sites Utilize programmatic data to address programmatic deficiencies in patient outcome at site level Liaise with PASCO and participants of the organization’s partner sites in local and regional activities and the Ministries of Public Health and Medical Services officials to ensure national policies are implemented at partner sites Representation of the organization at a regional level
Requirements:	1 Post based in Western Kenya Qualifications Registered nurse Training experience required. Current clinical practice as a nurse At least 3 years of recent experience in the care of patients affected by HIV/AIDS. Job knowledge Understanding of administrative policies and procedures, Understanding nurse role in chronic patient care.
