Summary:	The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian non-governmental organization which provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide. NRC Kenya/Somalia Program runs education, Sheller and protection activities in Dadaab North Eastern Kenya and in three locations in Somalia. i.e. Puntland, Somaliland and South Central Somalia
Description:	Duty Station: Dadaab-Kenya, with extensive travel to project sites Reporting to: Project Manager Duration: February – December 2010 Main tasks & Responsibilities Design and implement ‘Learning needs assessments’ for each sector and identified target group Supervise the implementation of all trainings for refugee and host community members, local authorities and NRC staff In liaison with departmental heads and Project Managers ensure that financial, administration and logistic requirements, policies, procedures connected to the planning, preparation and implementation of trainings are met Provide required project and progress reports, both narrative and financial, to the respective Project Manager
Requirements:	Required Qualifications: University Degree or equivalent Higher Diploma in Education, Social and Development Studies At least 5 years experience working as Trainer of Trainers/Trainer TOT certificate from a recognised training institute Proven ability to use MS Office software (especially Word, Excel, Power Point) Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; fluency in Somali or Kiswahili is highly desirable If you meet the above requirements, please send a cover letter including your CV, Copies of Academic Credentials, contacts of three referees and daytime telephone numbers to the address below by, Thursday 28th of January, 2010.
