Westat is seeking qualified clinical research associates to support the site monitoring activities of clinical trials in Hanoi, Vietnam. This position requires several monitoring and training visits at selected clinical sites. Responsibilities include conducting site readiness assessments, site initiation visits, and interim monitoring visits to ensure site, protocol, and regulatory compliance; conducting annual GCP site training sessions; interfacing with Principal Investigators and clinical staff; and completing site visit reports. Qualified candidates may reside in Vietnam or Thailand but will work in Vietnam, and should have with at least 2 years of clinical trials site monitoring experience; possess strong interpersonal skills; and be fully fluent in the English and Vietnamese languages, both spoken and written. This position requires someone with exceptional organizational and time-management skills and a working knowledge of word processing software. A bachelor's degree in nursing or other health-related field is essential. Knowledge of ICH/GCP, FDA, and OHRP guidelines as well as Federal (U.S.) and in-country regulations for clinical trials is required.
