Description: | Key functions
- This is primarily a training position with particular emphasis on developing and implementing an effective practical nurses mentorship program that addresses emerging practice needs including but not limited to task shifting.
- Analyze programmatic data and develop interventions to address deficiencies in quality of patient care and patient outcome for a multi regional care and treatment program.
- Prepares, update and disseminate through a variety of forums clinical protocol and educational materials.
- Utilize programmatic data to address site-level patient outcomes
- Supervise and support regional nurses in achieving program goals including measurable improvement of facility based nurse clinical practice
- Representation of the organization in various technical forums

Requirements: | Qualifications
- Higher Nursing degree: BSN preferred.
- Training experience required.
- Current clinical practice as a nurse
- At least 3 years of recent experience in the care of patients affected by HIV/AIDS.
Job knowledge
- Understanding of administrative policies and procedures
- Understanding of adult training methodologies.
- Understanding of nurse role in chronic patient care.
- Task shifting strategies.
