Job Responsibilities

  1. Developing and implementing staffing and learning strategies
  2. Developing retention strategies
  3. Leadership and organizational development
  4. Talent planning and diversity management
  5. Compensation management and delivery, Performance management
  6. Workforce planning,increasing associate satisfaction and engagement, design campus recruiting program.
  7. Organizational Development/change management, process improvement.
  8. Excellence in client management model: mobilizing the best people and integrating the tools and processes required to meet the needs of the business
  9. Recruitment:
    • Recruitment through job portals, consultants
    • Shortlisting the resumes and coordinating the interviews
    • Salary comparisons and compensation fitments
    • Completing end to end joining formalities
  10. Training:
    • Identifying training needs
    • Preparing the training calender at the end of the performance appraisals
    • Conducting internal training programs
    • Nominating for external training programs
    • Grooming the internal faculty
    • Competency building through technical and behavioral training programs
    • E- Learning
    • Employee induction
  11. Organization Development(OD):
    • Leadership development
    • SLA mechanism
    • Balanced Score Card (BSC)
    • Awards and rewards mechanism
  12. Communication:
    • Communication to all the associates through magazines and news letters
  13. Performance Management:
    • To review the performance of the employees over a given period of time.
    • To judge the gap between the actual and the desired performance.
    • To strengthen the relationship and communication between superior – reportees and management – employees.
    • To diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of the individuals so as to identify the
    • Training and Development(T&D) needs of the future.
    • To provide feedback to the employees regarding their past performance.
    • Provide clarity of the expectations and responsibilities of the functions to be performed by the employees.
    • To reduce the grievances of the employees.
  14. Employee relations and benefits:

Requirements:

Qualifications

  1. Higher Diploma/Post Graduate Degree with Specialization in HRM with atleast 5-10 years of hands on experience in cascading and implementing all above HR verticles.
  2. Thorough Knowledge of Labour Laws of Kenya
  3. Computer literacy is a must
  4. End user experience in ERP HR/HRIS will be an added advantage and will have edge over others.
  5. Ideally candidate should be in 30-40 age group
