Description:
  • This role specializes in performing problem determination and problem source identification in software environments. Responsibilities include: - problem analysis, evaluation, recreation, and resolution of customer reported problems - the use of relevant problem management systems to search for known problems and to create new entries/update existing entries - advice and guidance to customers regarding the use of software - the use of IBM technical resources and tools to answer customer questions and respond to customers requirements Software environments include operating systems, programming languages, database management systems, packages, development tools.
  • Based in Kenya
  • Travel up to 25%; travelling 2 days a week, home on weekends
Requirements:

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 6 months experience in Customer Relationship and Support
  • At least 6 months experience in Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • At least 2 years experience in AIX and Storage System Support
  • English: Fluent

Preferred

  • At least 1 year experience in Customer Relationship and Support
  • At least 1 year experience in Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • At least 3 years experience in AIX and Storage System Support
    Certified in Information Technology
